 Duration: 40 minutes
 Lesson Objective:
 Students will:
    Learn and practice food-related vocabulary.
  Use simple sentences to talk about food preferences.
  Develop speaking, listening, and writing skills.
 
 1. Warm-Up (5 minutes)
    Activity: Start with a short food-related song or chant (e.g., "Do you like broccoli ice cream?").
  Purpose: To engage students and introduce the theme.
  Materials: Audio or lyrics sheet.
 
 2. Introduction (5 minutes)
    Activity: Show flashcards or pictures of different foods (e.g., apple, bread, pizza, milk).
  Teacher’s Script:
   “What is this? This is an apple!”
  Repeat each food name and have students repeat after you.
 
Purpose: To introduce key vocabulary.
  Materials: Flashcards, a whiteboard.
 
 3. Guided Practice (10 minutes)
    Activity: Play a matching game where students match the food name to the picture.
  Instructions:
   Divide the class into pairs or small groups.
  Give each group a set of food name cards and pictures.
  Students match the words to the pictures.
 
Purpose: Reinforce vocabulary in an interactive way.
  Materials: Sets of food name cards and pictures.
 
 4. Speaking Practice (10 minutes)
    Activity: Role-play a conversation.
  Teacher’s Script:
   "Do you like apples?"
  "Yes, I do!" or "No, I don’t!"
 
Instructions:
 
    Model the dialogue with a student.
  Have students pair up and practice asking and answering.
 
Purpose: To practice speaking and expressing preferences.
 
 5. Writing Practice (5 minutes)
    Activity: Write sentences about food preferences.
  Instructions:
   Write sentence starters on the board:
   "I like ____."
  "I don’t like ____."
 
Students write their sentences in their notebooks.
 
Purpose: Develop basic writing skills and reinforce vocabulary.
  Materials: Student notebooks, pencils.
 
 Cool-Down and Recap: Mini-Project "Healthy Breakfast" (5 minutes)
    Activity: Students create a quick drawing and label a "healthy breakfast."
  Instructions:
   Hand out small sheets of paper or use their notebooks.
  Ask students to draw their idea of a healthy breakfast (e.g., eggs, fruit, toast, milk).
  They write 2-3 labels for the items in English.
  Invite a few students to share their drawings with the class.
 
Purpose: To reinforce vocabulary, encourage creativity, and link the lesson to real-life habits.
  Materials: Paper, colored pencils, markers.
 
 This makes the lesson more engaging and ties it to healthy eating habits!
  Assessment:
    Observe students during the speaking and writing activities to check understanding.
  Collect and review sentences from the writing activity.
